Dohrn is seeking a Full Time Systems Analyst at our Rock Island, IL corporate office.
Hours: Monday-Friday, Dayshift

Position Summary:
Providing implementation and support services to a multi-site, mid-size network environment, including, but not limited to networking, server maintenance, and software implementation.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:
• Support end users via ticketing system
• Participates in 24x7 support and on-call rotation as required; available by cell at all times
• Actively manage and maintain servers
• Actively manage and maintain network
• Serve as a resource to support business projects
• Implement new technology and software
• Assist in network security
• Share responsibility for data backups
• Attend and actively participate in team and department meetings
• React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License
• Two-year technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong level of experience with Microsoft Desktop and Server OS's, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft IIS, VoIP phone systems, Security appliances, Backup software, SD-WAN infrastructure, Wi-Fi and Mobile Device Management, and network troubleshooting
• Experience in a highly virtualized, converged datacenter environment
• Strong experience using service desk tools for ticket management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding customer service and interaction skills
• Excellent attendance

 

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
• Weekend and night hours occasionally required
• Primarily sedentary work; Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time; May be occasionally required to exert up to 50 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• The office environment is generally favorable; Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc; Environment includes co-workers talking on the phone within close proximity
• Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor.
• Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers
• Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information; May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others
• Occasional travel to other terminals required.
