Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Benefits and Leave Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees regarding their benefits. This position requires a strong understanding of human resources practices and the ability to effectively communicate complex information.

Responsibilities

Duties

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Conduct annual open enrollment sessions educate employees about benefits offerings.
  • Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits administration and eligibility.
  • Collaborate with payroll departments to ensure accurate deductions and contributions.
  • Utilize systems such as ADP and UltiPro for managing employee data and benefits administration.
  • Conduct employee evaluations regarding benefits utilization and satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes in regulations affecting employee benefits.

Experience

  • Proven experience in human resources or benefits administration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and systems is essential.
  • Experience with employee evaluation processes will be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS systems such as ADP or UltiPro is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to employees at all levels.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Driver License
• 4 year degree or other HR related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent data entry and typing skills preferred
• Human Resources experience preferred
• Detail-oriented, analytical thinker, and problem-solver
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and react to change productively
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems
• Ability to work on tasks independently or in a team environment
• Excellent attendance

 

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Primarily sedentary work, which involves sitting most of the time
• May be occasionally required to exert up to 20 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• The general office environment is favorable; Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc;
• Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor
• Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers
• Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information; May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others

Pay Range

Starting from USD $53,000.00/Yr.
