Dohrn is seeking a Full-Time Safety Office Supervisor at our Corporate Office in Rock Island, Il!
Pay ranges between $60,000-$65,000/year
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9hr/day

Position Summary:
Oversee the administrative safety task of ensuring compliance and regulatory compliance.

• Oversee workers compensation program
• Perform post injury investigation and review
• Work within the scope of OSHA, DOT and EPA regulatory compliance
• Supervise office staff
• Perform other duties as needed

• Valid Driver’s License
• Familiarity with OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills needed to effectively
• Communicate with Insurance adjuster, Legal counsel, Employees and upper management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excel Spreadsheets knowledge
• Detail-Oriented, analytical thinker and problem solver
• Ability to manage others and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent attendance in office work

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• Extensive travel required weekly to all remote terminals (4-5 days per week)
• Primarily sedentary work, which involves sitting most of the time
• May be occasionally required to exert up to 10 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• The general office environment is favorable; Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc;
• Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor
• Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers
• Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information; will be exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others
• May be subject to the Working Conditions of a Driver or Dockworker in the line of training and or safety audits
